After a long week, a few friends and I decided to treat ourselves to lunch at McSwiggin’s. It was my first time there and it was delicious. (Also it helped that they were doing an offer for 20% off meals) Not only was the seating and decor subtle and tasteful but the service was perfect. I ordered a divine plate of pasta, Tagliatelle Florence, which I thought would be fitting to start this blog off with.
Tagliatelle pasta with a homemade tomato sauce, strips of chicken, basil pesto and the highlight CHORIZO! It also came with really yummy garlic bread.
Let’s talk about chorizo for a second, it honestly can do no wrong in my eyes. Whenever I put it in any pasta, soup or casserole the chorizo steals the show. The seasoning in this Spanish sausage is out of this world, and it always adds a little something extra to a dish.
